Short run up from the road near Queens View - steady 17' up and 12' back down

Ran to the Loanhead handicap over this hill from the top of the slack. Took about 40 mins but I didn't find a good way down and had to crawl through a dense plantation then climb several fences. And yes I did finish last in the handicap. Best just to run up and down the same way, there is a fantastic view over the Howe of Cromar from the path, then another out to Bennachie from the top, and the whole run doesn't take much more than half an hour. I like the single tree sheltering by the cairn, next to a beater in case it catches fire.
