20/10/07 Evelyn and Derek
Our last point of a big day - cycled up to 345952 and then a runable track to rejoin a wider track. From the end of this, its a short climb to the top. Less of a view than other points today, but that's number 8 and we're happy as bunnies.

Nipped over the top of here in the middle of the orienteering. Just above control no 8. Also visited by Dan, Jon and Dave (again!)
30/04/07 Dave H. Having got up Craig Phiobaidh faster than I expected I carried on the from the same spot (S.Deeside road near loch Ullachie) and ran up the Knock. It is worth going a short distance East along the road to get beyond a deer fence otherwise you'll have to climb over it. The summit is undistinguished but there is a good view up the river, and there are probably capercaillie in the woods but I didn't see any. Only took 15 mins to the top.
