Ran in here from Littlemill on the Girnock. The path up here from the main Girnock track near Loinveg is very overgrown, particularly once it gets into the trees. The other path from the South looks a bit better, but not a lot. There are plenty of nettles and thistles near the ruin. Good view but it would be more pleasant to try to get here in winter, or at least not in summer. Went on up the hill towards p48. Not a great route.

Cycled from Ballater up Glen Muick and over to Glen Girnock by Inchnabobart. Left bikes at the bottom of the overgrown track up to ruined cottage. Cold and cloudy day.
