Came on from the Derry bridge. Rather cool and cloudy but the weather gradually improved. Biked until a bit past the final tree exclosure then started running. Actually it would have been possible to bike all the way to the bridge over the stream at 034992 but we didn't realise this at the time. The biking is pretty straightforward if a bit uneven. The run is a bit of a slog after the Hutchison Hut but only took 30mins or so. Derek managed to run up the hill for long enough for me to take a picture. The loch is a good spot for lunch. Amazingly, one of the runners in the Lairig Ghru race this year came this way by accident.

Jo, Sheila (not Deeside runners members) and I cycled up Glen Derry and then on to loch by foot. Very cold and showery.
