Went up this one from the north on a cold, wet, and windy sunday afternoon. It was a bit of a long slog up to the top but had a great run down. Went to hill of Goauch on the way home and got covered in cow s##t... best not to approch this one from the south!!!

Biked here from Bogendreip. It's probably quicker to run, but the bike ride is fun (at least on the way down) and there is a good stretch of single track. The route isn't obvious - there is a big parking area on the east side of the Cairn o'Mount road just before the bridge at Bogendreip. Start here. You want the path going south but the easiest way to get there is to head north east for 400m then turn south. You can take the path going immediately south but you'll have to turn up one of the rides to get to the higher path. Follow this until it gets narrow, then take the right hand path, even though it goes downhill. This is the singletrack which goes for a couple of km then comes out at a bigger track. Again turn right and briefly downhill, and follow it until you get to a steep uphill track. Up to this point you have been following some posts with arrows on them (if you spot them). Leave them at this point. The path goes steeply up, with one small descent all the way to the top. You won't see the summit until you are almost there. It might be quicker and easier to approach from the north, but if it was easy it wouldn't be a challenge.
