Took an evening stroll up here. It isn't the easiest place to get to, so I'll give some details. We walked up the track to Braeroddach via Ferrar, having parked on the main road by the gliding strip. Not far after Braeroddach there is a track going left into the woods. Take this and it soon reaches a field. Walk right, around the edge of the field. We made the mistake of crossing the fence at the corner, which meant bashing through bracken over our heads for a short distance. Much better is to carry on round the field to a gate. Go through this and it is an easy walk through long grass to the top(almost). There is a strange wall to follow most of the way - strange because it is banked on one side, ie much higher on the north than the south. It is very well built, and curves away to the north after the top of the hill. I suppose it is a boundary wall, but it is a very unusual one. The final push to the summit is a bit harder, because there is a huge amount of broom up here and it almost covers the last 50m or so. It's worth it though, because there is an open rocky area with a great view out over the Dee.
