01/12/07 Sarah and Ewan
Walked from the car park near the bridge with Ewan. It was a lovely morning, but there was a cold wind. Ewan went fishing (see photo). Returned by the same route as Gary et al. which took us the best part of 90 minutes in total for 3k!!!

No variation of route - the Railway line is closed for re-surfacing at
the moment.
Followed this strenuous effort with another tearoom stop, this time the Crannach at Cambus. its a few years since we last visited but it might be many before we return again. Seems to have gone a long way downhill. It used to look very nice, bit arty but agreeable but now it looks a bit tatty and not at all clean.
04/05/07 Dave H. Short run here from the Cambus
bridge. Took the same route as Gary to the cottage then came back on the railway. Went on to the monument (60). It is possible to go all the way along the river to Dinnet, the path is pretty good almost all the way. Too far for me today though.
27/04/2007 Gary Hughes/and family

The Hughes family came out on a fine evening to get our first checkpoint. We parked at Cambus O May and cycled around the path. Once we had taken the photo we continued along and found an old ruined settlement on the left in the fields.
I wondered if you could run right to Dinnet and then back along the railway track.
