31/05/07 Karen and Sheila. 1st point today. Cycled here from Easter Balmoral.
2nd point of the day, travelling in from 33. Pass our squadie and pack-horse again before reaching an oasis of sorts in a barren but wonderful wilderness.22/07/07 Sarah
Nipped up here between [33] and [31]. The view up the burn shows Meikle Pap in the background. I've a funny feeling there's not meant to be quite as much water in here in the middle of July.
17/06/07 Dave and KathyBiked here from Balmoral via point 33. There is usually a great view of Lochnagar from here, but only cloud and rain today. You can spend the night here if you like, not in the main cottage (reserved for Royals and the like) but in the dingy outhouse which is maintained by the MBA as a bothy. Got to keep the riff-raff in their place. Long Live the Queen!.
