Cycled from Ballater up to Loch Muick, leaving bikes just beyond Glas allt shiel. Folowed a good path to beach at end of loch.

This is a great place. Big cliffs, a loch and a sandy beach. Pity about all the tourists taking photos. Came here from Jock's Road, with a wet and slippy but tolerable descent to the top of the loch. After 3 hours of grey weather but good visibility it finally started raining. Good job it's all downhill from here. On to Loch Muick.
