Someone will have to tell us the route up here. We biked in from Potarch but eventually lost the route and dumped the bikes. We then headed up on foot through some very muddy patches, at least two were over knee deep (we had thunder and lightning last night) but we got there. Had set a waymark on the GPS at the bikes this time so found our way down a bit easier than at Gouach.
You've already seen pictures of the trig point so here's another of us - remarkably chipper eh?

Ran up to the top of Sluie after junior training and then back home via Ord Fundlie (a lovely little ridge, but no points to be gained) and then cross-country to Dess. Sluie's still lovely running at the moment, before the bracken comes up.

Entirely fortuitously I was doing an orienteering training course today which happened to go right over the top of this hill. The hilltop itself is nothing special - the woods have obviously grown up a lot since the trig point was last used - but there are lots of gnarly old pine trees around, and lots of crags that mountain bikers like to ride over (apparently, I've seen tracks but no dead bodies/scrap metal). It's worth making a tour of the other tops in the wood to make a run of an hour or so. Best place to start is probably the car park by Potarch Bridge.
