Back in the summer - Gary, Cath and Hannah. We did this back in the summer holidays as a family walk as it was such a beautiful day. I hadn't realised it was a point as Cath had found the walk listed on the internet and wanted to do it. We came in from the Gairnshiel Road.
14/05/07 Karen, Sheila and Jo. Last point of our cycle run. Reached here by cycling over the shoulder from point 37. Continued down to Lary farm and back to Ballater

Continued round from Craig of Prony [43] via good stalking tracks (fine for biking too). From Morven Lodge I returned back to the Lary road via the top of Lary Hill. There's a good landrover track that goes all the way over the top of this, then you can drop down near to the farm at Lary itself.

Still can't run so did the nearest thing - a very steep bike ride. Started at Glenfenzie on the A939, and took the track NE up to Glen Beg and Glen More. This starts easily enough but after it crosses the stream it gets very steep for about 500m. The ride down is even steeper but the surface is good. Great view out over the Lodge to Mount Keen. It feels much more remote than it really is. Took the direct route back. Had intended taking the path down to Inverenzie, but it doesn't really exist. Not worth biking anyway.
